Services: assists individuals who want to stop drinking as well as individuals who are recovering from alcohol dependency.  There are meetings throughout the city with various locations and times.
Eligibility: ANYONE who has a personal desire to stop drinking.

Al-Anon/Alateen

Services: are provided Mon-Fri, 10a-12p.  Self-help is provided for family and friend of chemically dependent persons/ meeting throughout the city.

Compassionate Friends

Services: Self-help for parents whose children have died.  Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month, Jan-Oct.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, Nov-Dec.

Services: Self-support for couples who have experienced an unsuccessful pregnancy or whose infant has died.  Group meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. 
Eligibility: Open to all who have suffered hardship in regards to child loss.

Services:  Assist victims of crimes through the District Court system.  Informs of court procedures and provides support.

Kentuckians Voice for Crime Victims (KVCV)

Services: All services are provided by volunteers that provide victim assistance, support, court watch, and legislative advocacy.  Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  There is a monument at Rest Haven for name of people who were killed by drunk driving.  No financial support is provided.

Services: Our mission is to ensure an impartial and fair view of all claims, compensating victims of criminally injurious conduct for financial losses incurred due to the physical and psychological injury or death resulting from a violent crime.  The Crime Victims Compensation Board operates under the authority of KRS Chapter 346 and Title 107 of KAR and determines eligibility and amount of reimbursement to crime victims.
Eligibility: Anyone in need of assistance.
Fee: NONE.
