Crisis Intervention:
The Crisis Center is an important accessible first call. It is very important to distinguish a crisis from an emergency. The difference is 589-4314 versus 911. Your listening skills and ability to ask thoughtful question will enable you to be helpful, not hysterical, and by involving the right aid-respectful.
